লন্ডনঃ স্কুলের পাঠক্রমে ‘সেক্স এডুকেশন’ বিষয়টি প্রাসঙ্গিক কিনা এনিয়ে বহুদিন থেকেই শিক্ষাবিদদের মধ্যে বিতর্ক চলে আসছে। এবার সেই বিতর্ক উসকে দিলেন ডেনমার্কের এক সেক্সোলজিস্ট। তিনি মনে করেন, ক্লাসে পড়ুয়াদের পর্নোগ্রাফি দেখানো উচিত।

খ্রিষ্টিয়ান গ্রউগার্ড নামে আলবর্গ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ওই অধ্যাপকের মতে, এতে পড়ুয়ারা অনেক বেশি বিবেকবুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন এবং ভালো সমালোচক হতে পারবে। এতে কোনটা অশ্লীল পর্নোগ্রাফি ও কোনটা স্বাভাবিক শারীরিক সম্পর্ক এই তফাতটা তাঁদের মধ্যে সুস্পষ্ট হবে বলেও মনে করেন তিনি।

তাঁর মতে অভিজ্ঞ প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত শিক্ষকরা অষ্টম ও নবম শ্রেণির ছাত্রদের সঙ্গে এনিয়ে খোলামেলা আলোচনা করলে তাঁদের মধ্যেও নৈতিকতা গড়ে উঠবে। এপ্রসঙ্গে তিনি আরও বলেছেন, এখন অধিকাংশ টিনএজাররাই নির্দিষ্ট বয়সের আগে পর্নোগ্রাফির সঙ্গে পরিচিত হয়ে যায়। তাই এটি পাঠক্রমে আনা তাঁদের কাছে কোনও নতুন বিষয় নয়।  তিনি আরও বলেছেন সেক্স নিয়ে পড়ুয়াদের মধ্যে যাতে মুক্ত চিন্তাভাবনা তৈরি হতে পারে এবং এব্যাপারে তাঁরা যাতে গঠনমূলক আলোচনা করতে পারে, সেইকারণেই তিনি শ্রেণিকক্ষে পর্নোগ্রাফি দেখানোর পক্ষে।

উল্লেখ্য ১৯৭০ থেকেই ‘সেক্স এডুকেশন’ বিষয়টি ডেনমার্কে বাধ্যতামূলক করা হয়। সব স্কুলে না হলেও কিছু কিছু স্কুলের পাঠক্রমে পর্নোগ্রাফি বিষয়টি রাখা হয়েছে।
